I am a Communication major with four years of experience as a collegiate basketball player. Most recently, I served as a Communication Fellow at Mississippi State University, where I manage and create strategic content for the Track and Field and Cross Country programs. During my tenure, I have driven significant growth in social media engagement, increasing our following by 5.4K in just 7.5 months and achieving a reach of over 6.0M.
Previously, I interned with Fighting Irish Media at the University of Notre Dame. There, I played a key role in developing social media strategies for the Fighting Irish football program, creating and editing live game content, and supporting the overall communication efforts of the athletic department. My contributions included boosting engagement and enhancing brand recognition across various platforms. My dedication and excellence were recognized with the prestigious Roger Valdiserri Scholarship Award, given to the top senior student communication assistant.
In addition to my hands-on experience, I attended the NCAA Careers in Sports Forum and the NCAA Convention as a representative of Division III athletics, underscoring my commitment to advancing in the sports industry. My background also includes supporting women's basketball accounts during SEC Media Day and Team Production Day, as well as capturing and managing content for Notre Dame’s College World Series baseball games and the Shamrock Series at Soldier Field.
I am passionate about promoting women in sports through storytelling and leveraging my expertise in brand strategy, public relations, and content creation. With a keen eye for current trends and a dedication to creative storytelling, I am excited to continue contributing to the dynamic world of sports communication, amplifying the voices of female athletes, and promoting diversity, and inclusion in the industry.
I specialize in social media strategy, content creation, fan engagement, branding, and vertical videography. I am hardworking and dedicated to share the stories of teams, athletes, wins and losses. I've proven to be a strong and successful asset to the teams I work for. I utilize my skills to create and share, while being a positive addition to the environment. I am eager to learn and grow in my skills- LETS CONNECT
